Establishing An Account

Veritas Investigations requires that clients either establish a Retainer Account, or make some form of payment in advance for the services that are requested.

bullet

Retainer Accounts: If your firm anticipates using our services on a regular basis, establishing a Retainer Account is the most efficient method of payment because our company will be poised to respond immediately to any investigative requirement you may have.  Please contact our Customer Support Representative at (937) 673-4546 to discuss establishing a Retainer Account for your company.  When there is an established Retainer Account, no advanced payments are required, and the the client will receive a seperate monthly invoice for each case that has incurred charges during the monthly billing cycle.

Advance Accounts: Clients that do not have a retainer account will need to make an advanced payment before our investigation can proceed.  For Service of Process, Background Investigations, and other fixed-fee services, we require payment in full before we commence our inquiries.  Upon completion of the Service of Process, Pre-Employment Background Investigation, or other fixed-fee type service, the client will receive a paid invoice with our report.  For Litigation Support and other General and Technical Investigative Services that are billed at an hourly rate, we normally require that new customers pay an advance equal to half of the cost estimate that the client has approved for the investigation.  Clients that do not have an established Retainer Account will need to make payment of the advance fee by check or credit card.  After deposit of the advance, the client will receive a detailed invoice on a monthly basis for the services we provided under that investigation.  Payment of the invoiced amount is due and payable upon receipt of our invoice.  Upon conclusion of the investigation, the client's advance will be applied to any outstanding balance and the client will receive a detailed final invoice with a refund of any portion of the advance that was not applied to the final billing.  Advances are not required for regular customers that have established a Retainer Account.
